Yardley Hastings Benefice

The United Benefice of
Yardley Hastings, Denton and Grendon
with Castle Ashby and Whiston

Anchor 1

The good news of Jesus Christ speaks of welcome for all,
with a particular regard for those who are most vulnerable,
into a community where the value and dignity of every human being
is affirmed and those in positions of responsibility and authority are truly trustworthy.

"He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”
Micah 6:8

A message from Morna

Becky and I have been saying farewell to each of you in different,

but lovely ways - thank you so much for all of your kind words.

Please know that we will miss you, and will cherish the time we have had here.

We will continue to pray for you as you begin the process of discernment

for your next incumbent - do remember that God has already chosen them

and is working hard to prepare their heart.

Finally, it would be lovely if you could come to my licensing at St Mary’s, Finedon

on Wednesday 4th September from 7:30pm.

If you would like to come, please put this date in your diary

and a reminder with any further details will be sent nearer the time.

With our love and blessings,

Morna and Becky
