Revd Amanda Oliver


The Revd Amanda Oliver, Assistant Curate of Yardley Hastings,

Denton and Grendon with Castle Ashby and Whiston, 

has been appointed Priest in Charge of Ashley, Cottingham, East Carlton,

Stoke Albany, Wilbarston and Weston-by-Welland with Sutton Bassett

(The Upper Welland Valley Parishes).


She will be licensed by +John, Bishop of Brixworth, on 25 July 2021


Amanda's last Sunday in our Benefice will be 20 June

and she will be taking the following services as part of her farewell: 

20 June, 8.00am, Holy Communion, St Mary the Virgin, Whiston


20 June, 10.00am, Holy Communion, St Mary’s, Grendon

‘Amanda’s Final Farewell’

Following on from Rev Amanda’s ‘Farewell Tour’ of the churches  in our benefice,

we have a final chance to say our goodbyes on Sunday 20 June, 

from 2.00pm - 4.00pm, on the Green in Denton.

Please bring a flask of your chosen beverage. Cake will be provided!

Since we are limited to 30 people at one time it is essential that you reserve your place

accommodate everyone, please state your preferred hour when booking

(2.00pm -3.00pm or 3.00pm - 4.00pm)

and we will do our best to allocate your chosen slot, on a “first come, first served” basis.
